The Girls Leadership Academy is Traverse Tribe Tours’ flagship leadership development and cultural immersion program designed exclusively for teenage girls aged 13–17 from Ghana. This hybrid program combines participation in the internationally acclaimed Girls Gearing Up (GGU) International Leadership Academy in Berlin with a curated post-academy experience designed by Traverse Tribe Tours.
The program equips young women with leadership skills, global perspectives, and the confidence to become changemakers in their communities — all within a safe, structured, and supervised international environment.

Three phases designed to maximise the learning journey.
Arrive Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Transfer to accommodation. Welcome lunch. Group orientation and safety briefing. Team bonding activities. Evening welcome dinner and icebreakers.
Guided city orientation walk: Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag exterior, Unter den Linden. Pre-academy preparation session. Evening group journaling and goal setting.
Opening ceremony. Introduction to leadership frameworks. First Power Mentor session with a successful woman leader. Team formation and cross-cultural introductions with peers from 15+ countries.
Public speaking and presentation skills workshop. Corporate visit (e.g. Google Berlin or Microsoft). Group challenge activity.
Project management and critical thinking workshop. Power Mentor panel: Women in STEM and Business. Film project planning begins.
Media and storytelling workshop. Film project production day. Self-defence and confidence workshop. Evening cultural exchange night.
Film presentations and peer feedback. Certificate ceremony. Networking and farewell with GGU peers from around the world. Reflection session.
German Museum of Technology (hands-on exhibits). TU Berlin campus tour with international admissions session. Humboldt University visit. Career pathways workshop: studying abroad, scholarships, and career exploration.
Berlin Wall Memorial and East Side Gallery. Holocaust Memorial guided tour. Natural History Museum. Spree River boat cruise. Farewell dinner and awards night.
Final group reflection and journaling. Packing and checkout. Transfer to Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Safe return to Accra, Ghana.

A short virtual interview for final selection — friendly and conversational, not intimidating.
Accepted participants receive a welcome pack, pre-departure checklist, payment plan options, and a parent orientation invitation.
