Combine extraordinary animal experiences with natural science teachings. The educator will take us to see a selection of star animals – for example, the African elephants, the big cats, and the petting zoo area for close encounters – while teaching about animal classification, habitats, and conservation.
Observe how the zoo’s penguins, polar bears, etc are fed or. Learn fun facts (like how to tell an African elephant from an Asian elephant by its ears) and bigger themes like why zoos participate in endangered species breeding programs. Tierpark’s programs cleverly blend animal excitement with science lessons aligned to school curricula, so our students will be learning (about biology, ecology, zoology) without it feeling like school.
Scenic boat cruise on the Spree River in central Berlin. As we glide on the water, an audio guide or live guide (in English) points out sights: we’ll pass Museum Island with its grand museums, float by the Reichstag’s glass dome, and see the ultra-modern buildings of the government quarter from the river side.
Shopping and final departure preparations.
Farewell Dinner.
Rise and shine early - A quick breakfast is arranged and private transfer to Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

This was not our first time going to here. It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
